This instrument was made in the early
1950s and is in fine playing condition, but is far from mint! There are no cracks on the
body, and it plays and records well - it's much in evidence on the Fretwork CD. The scratchplate's missing, as is a piece of the white neck binding. It comes with a hard case that seems to be original. I put new strings on it a couple of weeks ago, and one of the tuning pegs literally disintegrated - hence the somewhat 'toothless' look of the headstock. Replacements are in the post...
